Untypical grew from my love of design, technology and solving problems. After years working across web design, digital marketing and advertising technology, I wanted to create a business that brought those skills together and helped small businesses build an online presence that genuinely works for them.

For me, good web design is about much more than how a website looks. I take the time to understand the business behind it, the people who will use it and what the website actually needs to achieve. From visual design and user experience to platform choice and digital strategy, every decision should have a purpose.

The result is a website that feels true to your brand, is intuitive for your customers and gives your business room to grow.

  • I’m a web designer and digital consultant with over 10 years’ experience across web design, digital marketing, eCommerce and advertising technology. I’ve worked with businesses of all sizes, from small independent brands to some of the world’s largest technology companies, which has shaped the way I approach every project.

    I love the creative side of design, but I’m equally interested in what sits behind it. How people move through a website, what the business needs it to do, which technology makes sense and how everything works together to create a better experience.

    Today, I work across Shopify, Squarespace and WordPress, creating websites and digital solutions that balance beautiful design with usability, functionality and long-term growth. I believe the best websites feel completely natural to use while still capturing the personality of the business behind them.

  • I work with small businesses, startups, eCommerce brands, service-based businesses, clubs and organisations, creatives and growing brands across a range of industries. Every project is different, so I take the time to understand your business, your customers and what you need your website or digital presence to achieve.

  • Once you’ve completed the client application, I’ll be in touch within 48 hours (Monday to Friday) to learn more about your project and arrange an initial consultation. We’ll talk through your goals, requirements and what you need from your website before I recommend the best approach for your project.

    Once we’ve agreed on the scope, I’ll send you a proposal, design contract and deposit invoice. Your project will be confirmed in my calendar once the contract is signed and the deposit has been received.

  • My standard payment terms are 50% upfront to secure your project and 50% before the completed website is handed over. If you’d prefer to spread the cost, flexible payment plans may also be available depending on the project scope and timeline. We can discuss the best option for you during your initial consultation.

  • I currently design and develop websites using Shopify, Squarespace and WordPress. The right platform depends on your business, your customers and what your website needs to do, so I’ll recommend the solution that best fits your requirements rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

  • I bring together design, digital strategy and over 10 years of experience across web design, digital marketing, eCommerce and advertising technology. That means I look beyond how your website looks and consider how it needs to work for your business and the people using it.

    I take a thoughtful, collaborative approach to every project, taking the time to understand your goals, customers and requirements before recommending the right design and technology.
